WEMBLEY - 'Ello, 'Ello CARDIFF ARE BLACK, CARDIFF ARE BLACK

It's a move that will please some fans, be met with complete apathy by others but certainly annoy the traditionalists as Cardiff City have announced they will play their F.A. Cup semi-final in the reserve black strip.

Barnsley may have red shirts to City's blue but both have white shorts. It is believed Cardiff could have got around this by wearing blue shorts or, certainly, they could have tossed a coin to decide who wears their normal colours but Cardiff passed on both as the players decided black is best having worn those colours in beating Middlesbrough.

In the grand scheme of things, perhaps it ain't that important but 'd love nothing more than to see City run out in their tradtional and much loved blue at Wembley and I can't imagine clubs let Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea would casually let their players decide what colours to wear.

What's done is done but it sure disappoints me.

BLACKBIRDS!!!!!
