CITY v LANGSTON IN COURT TODAY

It should be the best and happiest of times at Ninian Park yet today could even be Cardiff City's darkest hour.
After months of unsavoury public baiting, very little around the table discussion to come to any sense or agreenemt and no fine detail to shed any light to the Cardiff City supporting public at large, Cardiff City vs The Mysterious Langston Group (but who, not so mysteriously at all !!, have the odious Sam Hammam representing them) hits the courts today for a summary hearing, requested by Langston, to see if there argument has any mileage to press for a full hearing.
Details of the disagreement have emerged which suggests that Langston's claim, at least to this observer, seems to be based on little more than a technicality yet, who knows, that may be enough to win the day. It could even be that today's summary doesn't resolve anything however.
The one thing that does seem clear is that, for the sake of the football club if that is where our interest lies, it would be an absolute disaster if the faceless Langston have their day. A new stadium may still arise but the football club itself would face financial meltdown, almost guaranteed administration and, given our current league standing, any points deduction could could well be enough to consign us to League One relegation.

BBC Wales have published this bluffer's guide to the key issues at stake in London courts today.
