While I have a funny feeling this will be sorted out, it appears that Barnsley's on-loan keeper, Luke Steele, who has performed heroics for The Tykes in their incredible F.A. charge to meet Cardiff at Wembley, has been recalled by his club, West Brom who are F.A. Cup semi-finallists themselves.
The dispute, so often the way in the game, is about money. The Baggies have been paying most of his wages while on loan to the Yorkshire outfit but appear to want a greater contribution, or loan fee, to continue his time at Barnsley.
With no agreement so far, it appears that while his loan has yet to be terminated, he is presently back at West Brom and training there.
It must be hartache for Steele but I still believe a resolution will take place. If not, we can always offer them David Forde or recommend Ross Turnbull at Middlesbrough of course!! :>)
