ECKYTHUMP! F.A. CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW ... IT'S BARNSLEY vs CARDIFF CITY

Surely, with respect to The Black Pudding Berthas from South Yorkshire, a semi-final draw vs Barnsley was the best one for City and that's how it is.

The draw, made by Bryan Robson, this lunchtime paired the Championship sides with Pompey vs Baggies in the other semi.

We're above them in the league, we proved we're a better side than them earlier in the season and they are not a side to be feared. When the draw paired the sides, I jumped out of my settee almost as high as when our goals were scored at Boro.

The tie will be played at Wembley on either April 5 or 6 and Cardiff will now be favourites to make the final although, without question, The Tykes have shown they're a good side who will fight us every inch of the way to get there themselves. It's going to be one hell of an occasion.

Of course, it's the Tykes' dream draw as well, with our being the closest club to them in the standings, as well as a bit thin on the bench. Still, here's to a SECOND game at Wembley this season for the Bluebirds.
