While the rest of football concentrates and marvels at Manchester City, under new owners, looking set to rob Robinho off Chleski for a whopping £32.5M and Berbatov looking set to go to Man United for a similar figure, my only worry - realising that City intend signing nobody as they had no Plan B after Smertin - is whether Cardiff City will now say no to Stoke City over Our Joe.The Potters, it is being reported, have upped their weekend bid of £5M to £5.5M earlier today and now offered a cool £6M this evening.
Peter Ridsdale has vowed to sell nobody else in this transfer window but that's a mighty fee. However let's hope not as I don't think it's the right move at all for Joe while City just wouldn't be able to replace and I'm fed up of us selling with the money going into a black hole and insufficiently reinvested in the team.
