TRIALIST SCORED CITY's 2nd GOAL AT CHASETOWN

No wonder nobody knew the player who got City's second goal in tonight's 2-2 friendly at Chasetown and assumed it was an Academy player ... as it turned out be to be a Nigerian French-based trialist that we were unaware of.

Wilson Oruma is his name, he's an attacking midfielder. The 32 year old is trying his luck at Ninian Park after being released by Marseille this summer. He holds 17 Nigerian caps and has played at a number of mainly French and Swiss clubs.

His goal tonight, by all accounts, was a quality strike which perhaps has done him no harm.

Here's info on him for that "notoriously reliable" wesbite - Wikipedia!
