The latest names linked to Cardiff City are Wolves duo Jay Bothroyd and Freddie Eastwood. Dave Jones tried to bring them on loan early this year but Wolves were keen not to loan them to play-off rivals ... well, we were at that time!

With both ouut of favour at Wolves, City may now seek permanent moves. Both add quality, flair and pace up the field where Cardiff's 2007/08 season and Cup Final was undermined by a lack of those qualities. Eastwood, in particular, strikes you as exactly the type of striker City sorely require.
