CITY LOOKS TO STRIKERS BUT NOT BIG MAMA SIDIBE SURELY???

Tonight's South Wales Echo claims City are interested in Stoke striker, Mamady Sidibe, who will be surplus now that the Potters are heading to the Premiership.

He's a handful and a physical presence but he's so average and in a strikeforce of players who lack goals, why would we want to bring in who offers pretty much the same?

Even with Stoke being an awful side to watch, even if successful, using primitive long ball bully boy tactics, even their fans didn't like or rate Big Mama.

City are talking of 8 new players, at least 2 being strikers, but once again it appears that we will be operating in bargain basement territory with the names linked to us so far and the bigger names mentioned set to go elsewhere.

We'll worry about this once the Cup Final is out of the way.
