CARDIFF CITY have revealed that they have declined two bid from the same Championship club rival for Steve Thompson. The bids aren't believed to be new but are in addition to reported interested from Scottish clubs wishing to take him back home.

While City may be turning them down right now, you certainly feel they may wish to sell. Thommo's on the bench, out of contract this summer so could walk for nothing and doesn't see eye-to-eye with Dave Jones it would seem.
However City cannot afford to lose him without anyone else lined up, is this where Earnie comes into the equation? I doubt we've heard the latest of Thommo links while the transfer window is open.
