Tonight's F.A. Cup replays resolved the detination for City's 4th Round tie, it'll be Edgar Street and Hereford United as The Bulls from League Two high fliers overcame Ronnie Moore's League One Tranmere Rovers with a late 1-0 winner despite reportedly being outplayed for much of the game.
The tie - currently scheduled for January 25th -won't be easy at all but does give Cardiff a very realistic chance of reaching the last 16 and, potentially, a big money-spinning reward against one of the 'big boys'.
Hereford are doing very well but their best form is on the road. At home, their 6 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats in League Two does suggest City are more than capable of getting a result.
The real, most amazing and very funny shock, came on the South Coast as League One leaders Swansea City crashed to non-leaguers Havanat and Wtaerlooville. All week, I've been hearing from Jack colleagues about their trip to Liverpool - the reward had they won, what a day that will now be for H&W - so imagaine how much I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.
