Aaron Ramsey's fantastic and immensely promising full debut for Cardiff City at Chasetown was not sufficient for him to win the F.A.'s Player of Round Three which, instead, went to Coventry's Maltese international Michael Mifsud for his double blast in Coventry City's amazing 4-1 demoliton of Blackburn on the Lancashire sides' own ground.
The award, voted for by fans, on the F.A.'s own website saw Ramsey as one of 6 short-listed nominees om which the player of each round gets a V.I.P. F.A. Cup Final ticket for themself as well as an award and £500 of sports equipment for a local school to them.
The fact Aaron even got short-listed for a round when the big boys enter the F.A. Cup, on top of his debut, was an achievemen in itself. Unlucky Rambo but well done.
* Incidentally, two of Chasetown's players are now pros themselves as their cup run brought them to the attention of Port Vale so they are trying their luck in League One.
