Apparently, it's not Joe Strummer's sidekick but a Cheshire official of the same name in the middle when Cardiff travel to Birmingham for a vital Championship fixture this weekend.
It's not the first time either side have seen Jonesy this season ... a quirk or fate saw him referee the reverse game between the clubs at Ninian Park last September. City lost 2-1 that day, one of only 4 defeats for the Bluebirds who have the fewest losses of all Championship clubs. I'm hoping we can say the same this Saturday night!
