WOLVERHAMPTON WHINGERS FOOTBALL CLUB

MOXEY -
TOO THICK TO REALISE HE'S A HYPOCRITE
Finally, Cardiff City have confirmed that their F.A. Cup 5th Round clash with Wolves goes ahead at 3pm on Saturday week (Feb 16th) with tickets on sale now to season ticket holders and then to the genral public from this weekend.
Wolves have been allowed a 2,000 allocation with a sting in the tail that it is a 'bubble' coach only trip for their followers which has produced an hysterical outcry and outburst of double-standards in Staffordshire.
Wolves caused trouble at Ninian Park when they brought a large following last season and the club who took the nauseating measure of banning all Cardiff City fans from Molineux last season without justification and, this season, have moved the Championship game to Sunday April 6 with a 1pm kick-off with only 1,000 City fans allowed in their larger ground by 'bubble' only, they will take the same measure if the F.A. Cup tie needs a replay.
While it's good enough for them to take those unjust measures - let's not forget City have just behaved perfectly twice in Staffordshire at Chasetown and Stoke City - Wolves loon Yank Chief Exec came out with an amazing moan on their official website. What an ignoramus!

Not as bad but just as hypocritical comes this editorial from the Wolves Rivals Werbite (I contacted their editor but no reply has been received).

I don't agree with any of this banning or restrictions shit but Wolves are truly taking the p*ss if they think they can bahve as they do and have nil appreciation should they reap what they sow. What goes around comes around boys. It's genuine fans who always get messed about but at least they're able to support their team and in high numbers too - it's a luxury they don't afford us.

Freedom Of Movement - Not In WalesBy wolvescentral - 06/02/2008 13:42

The South Wales Police has said that any Wolves fan that buys a ticket for the FA Cup match at Cardiff City HAS to to travel with the official coaches. So much for the free movement of people within the EU. Surely this affects the human rights of Wolves fans ?Wolves chief exec Jez Moxey said on the official site today "We have done everything possible to try to persuade South Wales Police to change their minds over this, We asked the South Wales Police to consider different kick-off times, or switching the match to the Sunday, which is the usual course of action if there are public disorder concerns. " "We have considered our options, including declining an allocation of tickets for the game but, on reflection, decided that in the interest of our supporters and the team we should provide the necessary travel facilities - even though in our opinion the restriction on supporters travelling independently is completely unjustified." Football is a religion to some people, are the South Wales Police going to deny fans the chance to see their team due to this totally illegal dictate. Funny thing is that it is probably due to the way Cardiff fans acted at Molineux a few seasons ago that led to this ban.
