Kevin Cooper leaves City, joins the Spireites

Winger Kevin Cooper has had his contract paid up under mutual agreement and signed a short-term contract at Chesterfield until the end of this season.

A mild success only at Ninian Park, the 33 yr old managed just 31 league starts in almost 3 years at Ninian Park, his last City appearance over a year ago in a FA Cup replay defeat at Spurs, He was a forgotten man by City fans and was loaned out to Tranmere, Walsall and Notts County.

He only scored twice fo City, the last one after I questiooned him on GTFM asking why he never shot for City as he had a good scoring record before us. He promised that he would start and next game scored a 25 yard special at home to Stoke, can I claim an assist?

Best Wishes Coops.
