FRIENDLY: WALES 3 NORWAY 0

And they were YELLOW

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous.

Forget an average Wales egg chasing side beating an average England egg chasing side (who should have won but threw it away), the pride of Wales this week is our national football side. Following the Under 21's - minus 9 players who were with the seniors instead - demolishing Malta and topping the Euro group - the senior recorded a similarly impressive 3-0 stuffing of Norway.

The Norwegians only just missed Euro qualification, included 6 Premiership players and were more experienced but comprehensively battered and outplayed by Wales who coasted home despite regulars like Gabbidon, Collins, Bellamy and more absent. Jason Koumas, supreme in all his work, scored two to cement Karl Fletcher's opener and first ever goal for his country - each goal very well crafted.

Koumas was the star of the show but Chris Gunter showed what an emerging talent he has bombing up and down the right all first half and the left all second half. Joe Ledley played first half but was rested by Tosh, mindful of all his games for Cardiff City.

It was only a friendly but we finally have teams playing with pride, it hasn't always been evident with some of our former 'stars', and a team with promise and potential. The only downside was that bloody 'orrible yellow kit!
