Spanish Waiter gets Championship Manager of the Month

The Jacks Gaffer, Roberto Martinez, was today namedChampionship Manager of the Month for January, beating Dave Jones of Cardiff City, Ipswich's Jim Magilton and QPR's Paulo Sousa.

Even the most bitter Bluebird will acknowledge Roberto has been doing a great job in the Land of the Peg Sellers and has Swansea City playing some top notch football so it's fully merited, good luck to him and them.

Dave Jones however won't be disappointed to miss out on an award he's been in the frame for in 3 of the last 4 months. The one time he won it, in October, City followed up with a disastrous November as the famed curse of the award struck. Those bitter City fans will now be hoping that's what Swansea get as well.
