Six years after their last meeting (a FAW Premier Cup game), 9 years after their last 'real' clash and 25 years or so since the sides were both in the second tier, Swansea City and Cardiff City finally come head to head.
Not as important as the Championship, both sides are likely to make changes for a Carling Cup (although minmial I'm sure), it will still mean everything to the fans especially with the country talking about it and the game going out live on Sky tv.
I'm getting ready shortly for a pre-game bevvy in Canton before the 1,460 of us Cardiff City followers able to attend head in dry coaches for police escort all the way to and from Swansea. Not my ideal experience but has to be done.
Here's just a few pre-game previews
