FOREST TO WHITT TO WOO??

Championship new boys Nottingham Forest are surely being cheeky, but serious, as they have apparently tabled a second bid for Cardiff City’s attacking midfielder Peter Whittingham.

Whitts, signed for £350,000 for the Bluebirds from Aston Villa, has been notoriously inconsistent and lightweight at times but has nailed down a first team berth in recent months and been a key performers scoring in three of the games on Cardiff City’s incredible F.A. Cup run.

If he leaves Cardiff City, and I’d hope not, then it can surely only be for a higher status club or football. It is also believed Wigan maybe on the verge of offering £2 Million for the player and there has even been wild (or wishful!) talk of Jason Koumas coming our way.

Forest are also believed to be chasing ex-City star Robert Earnshaw.
