CARDIFF'S FIRST MICROBREWERY - Worth a Visit

Popped for a quick one in Zero Degrees, the latest addition to the Cardiff pub scene, in Westgate Street (their premises in next door to the Queens Vaults that used to be a taxi rank/garage) last night on the way to a wedding party (Well done Jo Kershaw and Paul Edwards).

The place, and its music, had the feel of The Yard to it which you either love or loathe and I tend to be in the latter category but I was mightly impressed with the beer.

All strong brews, I tried the Dark Lager which was an ale and at 4.8, it certainly kicked.

Pints are normally £2.70 but it's £2 before 4 and 7 in the week and there's special offers on pithcers so it's hardly a rip-off.

Got to get back there soon to try the rest!
