The City of Cardiff may be "blueing up" Cardiff City Centre for Cardiff City this week but it's Cardiff City fans (that's enough mentions of Cardiff and City!) that have got the ball rolling.

Local authorities, NCP and City fan Mike Inker (known as Arfur Europe) on the CardiffCity.com messageboard has placed City's new banner on the front of the NCP Car Park facing motorists in Dumfries Place and shoppers in Queen Street.

The flag was recently purchased after a messageboard appeal arranged by "Arfur" which raied over £1,100, yours truly contributing towards it. The now flag appears on the Bob Bank every game, has been to an away game and even appeared outside Wembley in the full view of everyone walking up Wembley Way before the Barnsley semi-final.

It's a bit of a local celebrity and it'll proudly be on display all week.
