I don't think too many will be surprised to learn that Cardiff City are heading to Chasetown for a pre-season friendly.
Just as Cardiff's only other known friendly so far, away at Merthyr Tydfil, the date is to be confirmed but will take place in July.
City and Chasetown have struck up a rapport with Cardiff printing tickets, providing stewarding and going out of their way to ensure the F.A. Cup Third Round tie in January took place at Chasetown's Scholar's Ground. Who would have thought that day that Chasetown were playing eventual F.A. Cup Finallists?
