Just 13 days before the F.A. Cup officially returns to Wales with CARDIFF CITY (in my dreams, they do anyway!!), Tony Rex had the F.A Cup in his house for 2 hours after winning a South Wales Echo premium phone call competition.
As an aside, how many F.A. Cups are there? They always seem to be on tour somewhere – I saw one at a Barry football tournament yesterday.
Tony (whose name has got to be abbreviated to T.Rex with his mail) wasn’t so glam in his Echo photo sporting a beautiful black eye and made the story funny with this classic quote trying to explain it, “I went outside for a breath of fresh air. This guy came up and hit me and I woke up in the ambulance on the way to hospital. It spoiled my weekend and I’m not too proud of it happening. But this has helped improve things.”
Ah, the Llanedyrn Kiss then! Love to know what really happened.

As Nick Ross would say, "these incidents are rare, sleep well don't have nightmares tonight!" :>)
