Something relatively new, an up and coming band but one who definitely pay homage to the past.
Ape and Androids hail from New York and whose recent album, Blood Moon, is definitely worth a listen. Bizarros who pay as much attention to their look and theatrical performance and with a quirkiness reminiscent of Talking Heads, Sparks, The Tubes and DEVO, all of whom are undoubtedly influences.
They're quietly earning a name and reputation and visit UK in a couple of months.
For now, this video unveils them and enforces that they are a fun live band. Enjoy!
