Congratulations to JOE LEDLEY, still unbeaten as Cardiff City skipper, whose outstanding performances in central midfield have earned him an accolade as Championship Player of the Month. Until now, I didn't know such an award existed.
However it is voted by a panel in the same way as Manager of the Month and sponsored by Powerade.
Panel Chairman and media pundit Chris Kamara says, "Joe Ledley played out of his skin in January and it is little wonder that he was attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs during the transfer window. It is great news for Dave Jones' side that they were able to resist all offers for Joe as he is going to be instrumental in Cardiff's attempts to win promotion this season."
