According to a couple of newspapers reports, Brighton striker Glen Murray has declined Cardiff City approaches for a summer move to South Wales and will stay with the Seagulls even if they get relegated to League Two as looks likely.
It all seems unlikely and you wonder if it's paper talk or an agent generating interest as Murray is 26 this summer and not shaken any trees in his career spent entirely in the lower divisions.
He has scored 19 in 38 starts for Brighton since a £300,000 move from Rochdale, 12 coming this season but he's been out recently with injury and scored only 2 in his last 13 outings.
Write that one off then!
