Chops, who joins City permanently this summer, was clearly bought as a gamble ahead of City getting Premeriship money if they go up or fianlyl selling Joe Ledley - with 12 months left on his contract - if they don't. Roger Johnson, for whom City have refused bids from Premioership suitors, if another who would go. Oh and Eddie Johnson will return to Fulham as well !!!
