City and November - a distastrous relationship

Some research by CardiffCity.com messageboard poster The Other Bob Wilson confirmed what seasoned observers knew, Cardiff City seem to collapse every November. The past 3 seasons have seen the club collect just 1 win each moth and 14 points for 15 games in total. It reads as follows:

2006/07 P 5 W 1 D 1 L 3 f 2 a 7 Pts 4

This came after City's flying start to the season when we were runaway leaders and then it all went wrong!

2007/08 P 4 W 1 D 2 L 1 f 2 a 4 Pts 5

The knives were out for Dave Jones to be dismissed and he was believed to have been given 2 games to save his job ... he survived but only just. .

2008/09 P 6 W 1 D 2 L 3 f 8 a 10 Pts 5

After a start to the season facing many sides now occupying the bottom half of the table, the opposition proved tougher. However, the struggles in Novmber just passed came after the club were flying in October and Dave Jones won the cursed Manager of the Month. It also came after City finally showed ambition by adding Prermiership loanees Michael Chopra and Wayne Routledge to the squad.
