Bothroyd & City await injury news

Jay Bothroyd is being assessed by the Cardiff City medical team today after limping out of last night's draw at Burnley at a time when City were leading and in control of the game. Dave Jones says he's "tweaked" knee medial ligaments and maybe a doubt for Saturday at Ipswich but hopes he's ok.
I'm hoping he's right.
Jay is in prime form at present and a pivotal figure in prime form during City's last two games having scored one and made the other last night while winning the clinching penalty and hit a post against Preston last Saturday.
With fellow forward Ross McCormack out for 3 weeks following a further hamstring tear, it would be both ironic and awful if we lose Bothroyd again as well.
City's options minus Jay would be unthinkable too. Eddie Johnson back in the side - do me a favour! Or a way back in for Steve McPhail - when central mid have looked far more effective and enterprising without him - pushing Joe back wide and Paul Parry as a stand-in forward. No thanksas far as I'm concerned.
However if Jay is out, they seem to be the only choices ... so get well very fast Jay!!!
