Our Joe, thanks to popular support, has surged ahead in the vote for Player of the Round on the F.A. Official website.
He is the only realistic option having scored a fabulous goal, the one true moment of quality in both semi-finals, to top an outstanding personal dispaly but was trailing to Barnsley's Brian Howard in early polling.
At the time of this blog entry however, Joe had 54% of the vote to Howard's 34%. The prize is 12 tickets for the Final - that's his parents sorted out then! - as well as some money to donate to a charitable cause.
