F.A. CONFIRM TEAM F.A. CUP FINAL ARRANGEMENTS

THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION TOGETHER WITH

OFFICIALS FROM PORTSMOUTH AND CARDIFF CITY MET TODAY TO AGREE CUP FINAL ARRANGEMENTS AND THE FOLLOWING WAS AGREED.

- Both sides will have 25,000 tickets (10,000 fewer than semi-final arrangements but enough to more than satisfy City's season ticket holders)

- Cardiff will have the West End of the stadium, as occupied by Barnsley last weekend.

- Although suspicions will say City just allowed this, the official line is that the "toss of a coin" determined that Pompey will wear their blue and City will wear black, the same colours worn in the quarter and semi finals. They will be the first side to wear black in an F.A. Cup Final as it has traditionally been refereeing colours.

Cardiff are expected to announce distribution arrangements next Monday together with sale dates.

I think Manchester United played in black in the 2005 FA Cup Final defeat to Arsenal, did they not?

Or was it officially dark grey?
