After their comfortable Ninian Park victory over Blackpool in the F.A. Youth Cup, CARDIFF CITY have been handed home advantage over another Lancashire side in the Fourth Round draw yesterday featuring the final 32 teams - this time in the shape of Tranmere Rovers.
Rovers 3rd round tie at Northampton's Sixfields on Tuesday produced an emphatic 3-0 scoreline, ironically the same score that City's youngsters triumphed with versus Blackpool.
Tranmere will be used to travelling, this tie represents the 13th time out of 14 they have been drawn away in the F.A. Youth Cup. The draw saw both sides feature as the final pairing. A date for the fixture is to be confirmed but it has to be played by no later than Saturday, January 17.
