Cardiff City become 1st team to make F.A. Cup 4th round draw (Bristol game is off)

CARDIFF CITY's 3rd Round F.A. Cup game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate has fallen foul of sub-zero overnight temperatures with the game failing a 10am inspection due to a frozen pitch.

1,500 Bluebirds were assembled at Cardiff City Stadium awaiting to set off on a coach only "bubble" trip when the news filtered through.

The game had been brought forward to a 12:30pm kick-off partly due to police and also as the F.A. wanted it to be the first ever F.A. Cup Tie streamed live online via their website. Making supporters last has cost the game as a thaw is starting and there's little doubt the pitch will be playable with a 3pm kick-off.

The tie is now expected to take place on Tuesday January 12th.
