Dave Jones has described Joe's impact at Cardiff City as being similar to Steve Gerrard at Liverpool so is desperate for him to stay at the club. With the transfer window set to close on Tuesday but no offers or enquiries yet from an Premiership club, Welsh Captain Joe is set to stay with the club anyway so a deal will offer him more money and allow City the security of having Joe under contract.
The deal is there to be done and needs to be sorted for the sake of player and club.
