There's been speculation that Cardiff City are close to signing a "mystery midfielder" - so called becuase the club don't want other clubs to be alerted.
It sounds exciting but I'm sure it's not a household name player.
In fact, speculation is that it could be Doncaster Rovers Martin Woods but he's a bit part player which would seem unlikely.
Copuld it possibly be Doncaster's goal scopring midfielder Brian Stocks instead?
I'm getting as bad as newspapers speculating bow so I'll give it a rest.
