Cardiff City and Puma agree 5 year deal

A couple of years of the distinctively average Joma branded kit is over and Cardiff City have announced a new partnership deal with major brand Puma for the next 5 seasons.

The deal will take in first team kit as well as training and leisurewear. It's not yet known whether Puma will operate the club shop as a franchaise, as Joma did, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Cardiff fans are waiting to see the new season kit. The design is agreed, the shirts have been registered with the Football League but City are apparently 1 of 18 Championship clubs still trying to find a club sponsor in the recession so have held back its release.

One day, we may just get a new shirt to wear while we're on summer holidays ... at Cardiff City, it;'s a novelty if you can get one before the season starts though so perhaps I'm expecting too much!
