Dennehy Returns To Bluebirds Nest
Rookie Cardiff City centre half has been sent back to Ninian Park after a 1 month loan spell at Hereford United.
To call his loan period unsuccessful would be an understatement, Hereford handed the Irish youngster his football league debut but, having played well, he conceded a harsh last minute penalty as Hereford lost 1-0 at home to Southend.
Two more appearances also against sides beginning with 'S' in the form of Swindon and Scunthorpe saw him play 90 minutes as his side lost 3-0 both times.
As if it couldn't get worse, Darren then missed Hereford matches due to Irish Under 21 duty and then returned to the club with glandular fever so hasn't played for The Bulls since.
With Hereford doomed to League Two relegation, there was little point in talking of a loan extension. We can only hope Darren gained from the experience.
