McPhail out until New Year at least
If losing to Swansea wasn't bad enough, Cardiff City's weekend misery continued unabated with the club accepting they won't see Steven McPhail, a revelation in recent games, playing again until New Year.
After limping off against Sheffield United a fortnight ago and more seriously against Nottingham Forext last week, the club announced he could be absent for 6 to 8 weeks.
However subsequent medical advice announced that the damage was worse than initial fears and Macca could be looking at an op to re-attach his muscle to his bone which sounds nasty.
"It's bad news about Stevie ... he's a big loss because he's won the fans over again," said City boss Dave Jones.
Surely Cardiff need to look at a loan if they have real ambition? We'll see.
