CARDIFF CITY's Hero to Zero to Re-Born Hero Steve McPhail had bad news today after a scan on the thigh injury that forced him off in yesterday's entertaining and tough draw with Nottingham Forest revealed that he has a torn muscle.
McPhail has been instrumental in City's current run getting in the side in the 6-1 dismantling of Derby County, playing superbly and playing killer passes helping the free scoring run. It was a dramatic turnaround with Dave Jones commenting how he has won back fan support.
Hopefully his absence will be shorter than expected and City can continue to fly.
