With his book “No Smoke, No Fire” being launched today, Dave Jones and his wife Ann conducted an interview with Wales Online that has been published in 8 parts.
The book is a candid look at his life including the painful and public humiliation of his arrest and dropped court case for wrongful accusations when he worked at a children’s home.
The Cardiff City sections have come under fire on message boards this week as Dave Jones has written his version of the truth which includes nuggets such as the signings of Robbie Fowler wasn’t a mistake (even his Chairman admitted it was) and certain players losing their bottle was a factor in Cardiff’s dismal play-off failure last term when man can point to some awful decisions and panic by
Jones himself as being a significant contributory factor.
It’s sure to be a fascinating read – personally, I won’t be bothering though.
NO SMOKE, NO FIRE is available from today at a list price of £17.50 in all good bookshops and on-line where nearly new copies are already available for less than a tenner if you shop around
