Hull to reconsider approach for McCormack???

Hull City have made some bizarre player decisions this week. The bookie's favourites for relegation to the Championship this term need new firepower but having talked at the start of the week of Cardiff City's Joe Ledley and Ross McCormack, they bought the over-rated overpriced Bobby Zamora for £5M and were also looking at £1.5M Sunderland striker Darryl Murphy who failed to score in 27 outings last season.

Much relief all round that moves for Ledders and Roscoe didn't happen - maybe from the players too! - but having snapped up Zamora, the move for Murphy has collapsed after player and club failed to agree personal terms.

This leaves Hull starting a fresh search for another forward and speculation is rife oop north that McCormack will come under serious consideration. Having just signed a new 4 year deal at City, Cardiff don't need to sell and the price will be high - let's see how it progresses.
