Forest told to Foxtrot Oscar with latest Whitts bid

Cardiff City are believed to have declined Nottingham Forest's perceived "trying it on" offer for Bluebirds creator and scorer Peter Whittingham.

Whitts incredibly bagged 25 last term and was in Championship team of the season in a year in which he fianlly lived up to his undoubted talent.

The player, in all honesty, should be worth circa £3M but out of contract in 12 months and with City dealing with cash problems, Nottingham Forest launched a formal bid of £1M. Cheeky would be an understatement.

While I got a sneakly feeling City may consider any serious offer, it's no surprise that one was batted away.
