MOST SHAMBOLIC SOCCER SUNDAY COMMENTARY YET

Soccer Sunday is HTV Wales programme showing the Welsh teams (now just Cardiff and Swansea) each weekend. We should be grateful to have such a programme but I don't think I've ever seen a more amateurish sports production.

It's scheduling is all over the place -it's can literally be 9:30am one weekend and 5:30pm the next and all time in-between, the presenation is barely better than 6th form college and sometimes not even that good.

This weekend saw a new low with the Cardiff City vs Wolves coverage which I just watched on
Sky+ for the first time. Even by its ever embarrassing standards, this commentray and coverage had to be a new low.

If you haven't seen it, they used Clive Tyldelsey's mic work on the Championship but he only described the goals, the McCormack (non) penalty incident and 2nd half chances by Roger and Eddie. Tyldesley obviously wasn't there and they dubbed on his comments for the Championship programme clips only.

This was less than a third of the action shown on Soccer Sunday, the rest of it shown in complete silence although you could make out Ian Walsh summarising for Radio Wales.

They failed to show or explain the injuries or substitutions. Soccer Sunday provides the worst service for football fans and continually takes the p*ss! They wouldn't dare do that if they had egg chasing coverage.
