Shock news has been confirmed as Cardiff City's pre-season tournament in Madeira has been pulled by organisers. Cardiff were due to set up pre-season camp there and play two games against Portguese side FC Nacional and Maritimo but organisers pulled the plug out of the blue, no doubt the finances didn't add up.
The Bluebirds have switched pre-season camp to Portugal and will play Vitoria Setubal and either Benfica or Belenses instead in friendly matches.
However the biggest blow will be for supporters as many had booked holidays there and paid high expense. Ah well, nice place to visit I'm sure.
