Dave Jones was just on Radio Wales talking from Huish Park ahead of the Yeovil friendly.
Very calm and assured about Fowler but insisted he would have signed him even had we kept Chops. He refuted the Jeffers story though saying he is not coming.
However he said that he is still looking for 3 new signings in time for the start of the season, a striker, a 3rd goalkeeper and an outfield player.
Darren Purse is absent today at Yeovil as it took Scimeca and himself 9 hours to get home from Cardiff yesterday, they had to jump out of Scimeca's car in a flood and it was then taken away by the River Severn!
Having taken 9 hours to get south of Oxford for Matt's wedding party last night, missing the food and only having time to get a beer or two, I know how they're feeling!
