The Specials = Monkey Man, live at Cardiff CIA

The Specials played Cardiff ion Sunday night. I saw them 30 years ago with Madness and Selecter at the Top Rank ... all for £3.

This time, it cost £32 and I didn't go ... how I wish I had. All reports and feedback contain nothing but adulation.

Glastonbury'09 - THE SPECIALS

30 years ago, I saw Specials sweat out Cardiff's Top Rank as they started out on the road to glory. The Specials, Madness and Selecter all for £3 - it will be one of the greatest gigs of my life.

It's fantastic to see them reformed - albeit minus Jerry Dammers - and still entertaining.

NEW YEAR BAD MANNERS

Cardiff's annual Calennig has a treat this year.

The Free Family Family to celebrate New Year has a number of events for for the muso's amongst us, the highlights surely are GENO WASHINGTON and HIS RAMJAM band followed by British Ska legends BAD MANNERS featuring, of course, Buster Bloodvessel.
