This morning's Wales on Sunday (the newspaper with no news) carries an "exclusive" (of course) that Cardiff City captain Joe Ledley has not been offered any new contract by the club. Ledley is quoted as saying "I haven't turned down a contract, there has been no contract on the table whasoever, I know that and so does my agent".
Ledley's agent, of course, is on record as saying Joe wants away and that he will run down his existing contract and leave for nothing next summer if necessary. It is believed discussions were held to start contract talks but it was made clear Joe wants to leave this summer. All in all, no point if offering any contract then.
