Anyone else having the joy of debating when to switch the heating on?
As a bloke and man of the terraces (and, now stands), I'm tolerant of a bit of chill and even now, am quite happy about the house in shorts and t-shirts.
However, talk to the missus about the first chilly snap of the year and you'd think it was the middle of January. So the battle begins of when to have the heating on ... fire and central heating being sneakily switched on when I'm not looking and me sneakily putting it back off again.
But this time it's worse ... gas has gone up ridiculous amounts, there's a credit crunch and winter heating is tough reading at the bet of times ... now it's going to be worse.
It must be a battle taking place in many homes. Happy missus or empty wallet - that's what I call a no-win situation!
