Byfield ... unwanted by Bristol City, Jamelia and Cardiff City supporters!Today's Sun is reporting that the "race" to sign Wurzle discard Darren Byfield is now between Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City.
Whether it's gossip without foundation or a genuine push, it seems to have left City fans completely uunderwhelmed. Nobody on CardiffCity.com has shown any interest in it and the majority are hoping someone else takes him.
Although still early days in the summer recruitment programme, it is worrying that the club make all the noises yet again about a Premiership push,. backing the manager with money and more that our key hinted striking targets are going elsewhere while the ones we seem close to getting are Fowler, Hasselbaink and Byfield who collectively won't offer City a fantastic quantity of goals and, arguably, appearances either.
